Noun, lor-ha.
Usually used together with a Sil.
An East Indian utensil made of stone and is used to grind seasonings and spices. The lorha looks like a round stone and is used to perform the grinding. This picture my Lorha and Sil, handed down from my mom.
Define: Loya
Noun, low-yaa.
A loya is ball of dough used to make a roti. When making roti, the dough is kneaded, and divided into balls. Each ball is refereed to as a “loya.” Each loya a rolled out into a circle before being cooked to make a roti.
